Encouraging Diversity

Our motto in Dragon Oil is People First. This value is promoted throughout the Group from senior management through to our colleagues operating in the field. We issued a new Code of Conduct in 2009 to ensure that all employees are treated in a fair manner throughout the Group.  We actively encourage cultural diversity throughout the Group and are a major employer in Turkmenistan with a high proportion of staff members originating from our host country, while over 30 nationalities are represented in our Headquarters in Dubai. Dragon Oil uses our contacts within local universities and colleges in Turkmenistan to source skilled candidates offering them the opportunity to carve out a long-term career within the Group. Dragon Oil promotes a spirit of cross-cultural understanding enabling the Group to take advantage of a wide range of international skills and experience.
